Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is at a nearby church and the reception and party afterwards is planned outdoors, with indoor options in case of bad weather.

Are kids welcome?

In order to allow parents a well-deserved evening off, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. If it is not possible to leave your little ones at home for the weekend, please contact us and we will find a solution together.

Is there a gifts registry?

We don't have a registry and we don’t expect gifts, your attendance and time is more than enough. If you would still like to give us a present we would ask for something unique, along the lines of a favorite book or bottle of wine with a personal note.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is festive. We would love to see long dresses and hats for women and (summer) suits for men. As we will spend a lot of time outside in the garden, please avoid stilettos. In the end, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Average temperature will likely be just above 20°C. Make sure to bring something warmer for the evening.

Where should guests park?

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
During the ceremony we want to be able to enjoy every second to the fullest and hope you do the same. We will have professional photographers capturing the most important things – so you can leave your phones in your bags. Feel free to take as many pictures you want after the church and make sure to tag us and use our #philena2024 so we can keep track of all your pictures.
